Metallica have started the process to find a suitable replacement for the departed Jason Newsted. The band aim to have somebody in place for touring purposes next year. But hopefuls need not try to apply – candidates are being approached by the band and asked to audition. So far, several names have been invited, but Metallica aren't letting on who they might be.
