PENANCE

The brand new full-length, SPIRITUALNATURAL, is set to be released into major retail stores Sep 4th, however, mailorder pre-sales are being taken now and will be shipped out as soon as the cds arrive in late July. While supplies last all pre-orders will be accompanied by a PENANCE pin. In addition, a bonus CD of various Martyr Music Group artists is included at absolutely no additional charge. The compilation CD is in celebration of our fifth birthday which took place in June. We will be celebrating the album's release at a special Pittsburgh show on September 19th at the 31st Street Pub so please come join us (21+)… I'm also very excited to announce that Penance has been confirmed to play the DOOM SHALL RISE II Festival ! The fest will be held on April 2 and 3, 2004 at The Chapel in Goppingen, Germany. We're honored to have been asked to participate in the fest and to have the opportunity to share the stage with some of the world's best doom metal bands ! In conjunction with this special festival appearance I am also very happy to announce that Penance will be setting out on a 2 week tour of Europe ! This is the first time Penance will be touring Europe since 1993. Details are just beginning to be worked out and we'll update you all as arrangements become more set in stone.

Parallel Corners will be reissued this fall. The audio masters will remain as-is while the packaging and artwork are to be completely re-done. Tentative planning has also begun for a PENANCE DVD which would (hypothetically) include live footage (past and present), interviews, behind the scenes footage, interviews and whatever mayhem we can fit on there.
