ALTARIA

Finnish melodic metallers ALTARIA will begin mixing their sophomore album, “Divinity”, on February 16 at Tico Tico Studio (SONATA ARCTICA, SENTENCED, FOR MY PAIN…, etc.). A late May release through AOR Heaven sub-label Metal Heaven Records is expected.

The first limited edition of the album will be available as digipack, including one bonus track — a cover version of ACCEPT's classic “Balls To The Wall”. A high-profile “guest singer” for this track will be announced soon, according to the band's web site.

ALTARIA, who recently parted ways with NIGHTWISH guitarist Emppu Vuorinen, will continue as four-piece, with the addition of a second guitarist (Petri Aho, formerly of BLINDSIDE) for forthcoming live shows.
