ANGRA guitarist Kiko Loureiro has posted the following update

on the recording sessions for the group's follow-up to 2001's “Rebirth”, tentatively due this summer through SPV Records:

“We have finished doing all the bass and guitar parts (rhythm and lead). We are currently adding a couple of gimmicks to enhance the songs, such as choirs, duets, different instruments and so on. Some of vocals have been also recorded and this week we shall be working on the keyboards and orchestral arrangements.

“As planned, Dennis [Ward, producer] is coming back to Germany next week. He's got to do an European tour with his own band, PINK CREAM 69. When he returns, Edu will finish the vocals and Dennis will proceed with the final mixing. We must have the record ready in April at last!

“Me and other members of the band should be going to Germany to accompany the final mixing, by the way. Later on, I'll write a bit more to keep you informed on all current matters regarding the band.”
