that they have signed a non-exclusive agreement for digital distribution for the companies catalog with Napster. Crash joins those from major labels and other prominent independents to be carried on the new version of Napster. “We are very excited to be able to offer our music digitally through Napster, says Mark Nawara, president of Crash Music. “Our goal is to be able to offer our artist's music as many ways as possible. Signing on with Napster will now enable their music to be available for digital purchase legally to the increasing number of fans that download music from the Internet.”
Napster delivers access to the largest catalog of online music, with more than 500,000 tracks spanning all genres.
Crash Music was formed by Mark Nawara, who also founded Pavement Music back in 1993. The company is distributed in the U.S. by Innovative Distribution Network (IDN) and has offices in France that handle the European territories through Crash Music Europe. Currently, Crash has successfully placed videos for two of its artists, TRANSPORT LEAGUE and SINGLE BULLET THEORY, which are now appearing on MTV2 and Fuse's “Uranium”.
