DISTANT THUNDER

the new Houston-based group featuring vocalist James Rivera (ex-HELSTAR, SEVEN WITCHES, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM), ex-DESTINY'S END guitarist Eric Halpern and SYMPHONY X bassist Mike Lepond, are currently recording their debut album with producer Jack Frost (SEVEN WITCHES, ex-SAVATAGE) for a late spring/early summer release through Massacre Records.

The as-yet-untitled CD, which will include such cuts as “Distant Thunder” and “Lost”, will feature a musical direction described by Rivera as “the real James Rivera kind of stuff. I felt there would still be quite a bit of the European fan base who will enjoy what I am best known for.”
