has set an April 26 release date through the French label Nothing To Say (NTS) Records for his fifth solo album, “Ephemeral World”. “Mixing went very well and Patrick is happy with the sound, there are still a few things to tidy up, but the release date seems to be definite,” reads a post on Rondat's web site.
The self-produced album will contain 10 new songs, including an adaptation of a piece by Bach, and will feature as-yet-undisclosed “bonus” material. Drums for the CD were recorded in Germany at Bazement Studios with Dirk Bruinenburg. Bass duties were handled by Patrice Guers.
The album's release will be followed by promotional showcases, demos and “hopefully a tour.”
