MANTAS – Mantas (guitar), Dolan (bass), Bry (vocals), Marsy (guitar) and Cherisse (drums) – have scheduled appearances at the New Jersey and Minnesota Metalfests in March and will also play a series of shows in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Oakland. They will shoot the video for the single, “Rage”, on March 6-7. The band will tour Europe in June and will return to the U.S. in July for an appearance at the Milwaukee Metalfest.
To end current speculation, Mantas has confirmed in an official statement that he is not presently recording any new VENOM material, nor does he intend to – “at least [not] with [the group’s] last lineup.” [presumably referring to the lineup that recorded 2000’s “Resurrection” – Ed.] “[Drummer] Abaddon [a.k.a. Tony Bray] is also not involved in the project, as far as we have been told,” the statement added.
