German thrashers PERZONAL WAR will soon release their much-anticipated follow-up to 2002's “Different But The Same”, entitled “Faces”. The new record will be the first to feature new bass player Sven Krautkraemer, who replaces longtime member Frank Buchwalter.
“Faces” was recorded once again at Gernhardt studios and produced by vocalist Metti Zimmerman and drummer Martin. Mastering was done by Kai Kneutgen, who also worked on the band's last album.
When asked about the new material, Zimmerman told Maximum Metal that the new songs are very different to each other. Twelve songs are on the album and Zimmerman explained that the new offering is a “bit more extreme than the last one with some half-ballads, some deep tuned mid-tempo stuff and also the fastest and most brutal PERZONAL WAR songs ever.”
“Faces” will be available on April 19 through AFM Records in Europe and The End Records in North America.
