French black metal band SETH have finished recording their fourth album, tentatively titled “Era-Decay”, for a spring release through Avantgarde Music.
“All takes are recorded and the mix is not yet finished, but so far the 'Era-Decay' full-length album sounds definitely more brutal and intense, scattered with darker and omnipresent atmospheres throughout the 9 tracks,” the band write on their web site.
“We'll have to fly back to Holland for a few remaining mixing days before the end of January, then work on the mastering at the Mega Wimp Studio (Germ).”
“Era-Decay” track listing:
01. Marchemergence
02. March Of The Consistory
03. Umbilical Cutting
04. A Pallbearer's Gloom
05. Ascention
06. H-Eradicate
07. Xtasian Ostix
08. Co-Existent Species
09. The Blade Upon Mankind
The group's lineup during the recording sessions consisted of the following: Heimoth on guitars, Alsvid on drums, Black Messiah on vocals, Helldryk on bass, and the newest addition, Cyriex on guitars.
“While Alsvid made one of his most impressive drumming takes, the arrival of our new guitarist Cyriex and the potential of our recent vocalist brought something fresh to the music,” the group write.
