HEADLINE „Voices Of Presence” - okładka

This is a disc that was givin to me by a friend as a promo so there was not any info on the band of any history of the band that came with it. At first this disc was a disapointment so I thought I would at least give it a couple more times to listen to it to see if It would grow on me. I cant say If the disc is classic, epic, or progressive metal for it has elements of it all in it. The production is top notch with a real clean and well balanced sound. At times the disc will grab you and you will think you are in for a ride but then the tempo and direction will change and leave you wondering where it is going. This band has a great deal of talent with a vocal sound of Doro Pesh but they need to decide if they want to play metal of classical and lean more in one direction. The piano work on the disc is wonderfull but makes you feel like they are trying to put you to sleep. I really hate to give this disc a bad review for the music on it is great but to me it is nowhere near metal so as for the talent in the band I give this disc a 8.5 out of 10 but as trying to be anykind of metal I have to give it a 6 out of 10 due to the band not knowing which direction they want to go.
