All I can say is that there is a certain feeling this album brings. I guess contentment should be the best description of it. The guys in Ultraspank bring all their stuff a little further than on their previous self-titled release. You've got the somewhat Tool-like vocals mixed with the distorted nu-metal screams. You've got the heavy guitars and rhythm section. You've got the small dosage of electronics as a bonus. The songs are a little more complex than on their debut and the arrangements are very nice. The only negative thing I can say about Ultraspank is that some of the riffs sound alike, but on the other hand they are part of their style. If you like melody in contrast to a heavy dynamic groove this album is a killer!
