The End Of All Things To Come is the follow-up to the highly acclaimed LD.50.
In many aspects this album is similar to LD.50, regular time signature changes with melodic and savage growling vocals. The End Of All Things To Come has thirteen songs. The standout songs are trapped in the wake of a dream, the second single release world so cold and mercy, severity.
The main theme of this album is depression and insecurity. The guitar tone is a bit weak though I feel is some place. The usual huge basslines from mudvayne are ever present in this their fourth album.
Lyrics are cool, I found that when I read them closely I found that I had something in common with each song. Production is by David Bottrill (Tool and silverchair) and is flawless.
In some ways this album loses direction and gets a little repetitive, it will take a few listens to get into.
All in all a great follow up to another great album.
