SHADOWS FALL

SHADOWS FALL recently added another milestone achievement to their already triumphant year as their latest album, The War Within, becomes the highest SoundScan selling U.S. release in Century Media’s illustrious 14-year history. This impressive accomplishment comes after the group completed a successful U.S. arena tour alongside Slipknot.

Things are only just beginning to heat up for the group as they’re set to perform on the main stage at Ozzfest this summer, thereby not only becoming the first band of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal genre to achieve that honor, but one of the few in history to make the leap from the second stage to the main stage. Brian Fair (vocals) further describes the group’s excitement: “This summer is going to be a huge opportunity for us to prove ourselves onstage with some of the greatest bands in the history of metal. Playing the second stage of Ozzfest 2003 was one of the highlights of our career and now we have a chance to step it up on the main stage. We thank all of the people out there that have helped to make this such an incredible year for us and we can't wait to see you all on the road.”

The group will be joining Mudvayne and Rob Zombie for a few additional high profile shows alongside a slew of headlining off-dates with the likes of such acclaimed acts as Arch Enemy, In Flames, The Haunted and Trivium, among others in the support slots. They also recently completed a highly successful European trek, which included some major festival appearances as Download, Rock im Park, Rock am Ring that was all capped off with a scorching performance at the 3rd Annual Metal Hammer Golden God Awards Ceremony.

SHADOWS FALL latest single for “Inspiration On Demand” has exploded at commercial radio and recently broke into the top 30 on the R&R Active Rock chart. The video for the track has also been greatly embraced by Fuse, MTV2 and MTVU, who recently added it to their “Freshman” playlist. SHADOWS FALL were also recently named one of VH1’s “Hear and Now: Five Massive Metal Mongers You Should Turn Up” and a “Band To Watch In 2005” by Stuff magazine. The War Within ranked as the third best album of 2004 in Revolver magazine’s coveted Reader’s Poll, while their track “The Power of I and I” also scored the fifth spot in the “Best Song” category.
