Good songs: Die for you, Lies

First I thought, do they want to fool me with the sitar sounds and the weird noise in the beginning
BUT: This changes consequently and Die for you goes in the air like a rocket! The vocals remind me much on Lauri in The Rasmus and also the music sounds like that band, but a little bit on speed. I would say for the first samples: Let´s see what they can offer after that nice first song…
Okay, Lies could definitely be a song of Pink Cream 69! Nevertheless, I think this song is very good! Man, if that album goes on like that, then this self-titled debut album could rotate in my CD player for many times! J
I am not much into Break my bones and Crushed at the moment… More and more The Rasmus style
That frightens me! 😉 But they don´t take speed away. I am waiting for the next song, Days of confusion
In the meantime I can tell you that this is a project of a few good musicians of four gentlemen: Tony Harnell, also the singer in the Swedish band TNT, found guitarist Magnus Karlsson (Last Tribe), John Macaluso (also TNT and in ARK and Yngwie Malmsteen) behind the drumkit as well as bassist Fabrizio Grossi, who is producer. So the four worked on an album.
Okay, meanwhile Days of confusion has started, well, it has come to its end already, respectively. But hello, I am sitting here, don´t think of anything else and: Hey, there is the expected ballad!
But nothing! Just the intro and the outro of the song is dominated by a piano. Nothing to do with calming down! You can forget that with Transparent as well!
Okay, where did they steal that melody of the beginning of Light at the end of the world?! But, hey, cool! And with Cradle to the grave Starbreaker drift into a little heavier corner.
Okay, that was wrong
J Again a regular Starkbreaker battle. That rocks!
Aha, a piano in the beginning of a song for the third time
Again no calming down: Underneath a falling sky. Starbreaker are always good for a surprise. Furthermore they don´t stop the speed! I like that! J
Instead of a ballad, that I was searching vain, there is an instrumental! That is ok as well! J Normally I am not much into those instrumentals and I don´t like it here as well. That is why I cannot find anything on that song. But I have to mark that the musicians really know what their music is about!
The last song (Save yourself) is a song in the old manner But hey I can´t help myself, but that guy definitely sounds like Lauri! I don´t care J I am totally enthusiastic about that! And that is why I can tell the melodic metalheads between us: Listen to it! Release date: March 21, 2005!
