I thought that the power/heavy metal bored me yet. But the three men from Finland proved that heavy metal can not bore for the people who tasted this type of sounds and besides they have the musical past (Pete Ahonen – BURNING of POINT, Tapsa Pelkonen – WILDCARD as well as Jussi Ontero – WILDCARD).
GHOST MACHINERY presented us the 13 songs and the cover-song of GARY MOORE of “Out In The Fields”. In the cover-song Ville Laihiala (SENTENCED) sang and Mikko Myllyla played the guitar.
The band defined his music as neo-classical power metal, and justly. Because the songs are characterize considerable quantity of dynamics and melodics created by the sharp guitar parties, symphonic keyboards and of course by the very tuneful singing helped by the emphasizing backing singers. The arrangements are full of heavy guitar's riffs, the melodious guitar-keyboard solos and the melancholy or sometimes more dynamic phrases of vocal which get in ear easily (thanks to this we can troll some phrases together the vocalist in first listening of the material – hahaha ). The energetic work of complex drums steers the dynamics of songs. I desire to add that there did not lack the nostalgic ballads, and I think this raised the value of album. The whole creates the elevated murkily-melancholy atmosphere full of special dynamics.
The material is ideal for the fans of power/heavy metal madness in style of HELLOWEEN, DIO or HAMMERFALL.
