And again a few hard rock musicians are not busy enough. In this case they are named as follows: Reb Beach on the guitar (Ex-Winger, Whitesnake), Dough Pinnick on the vocals (King´s X), Timothy Drury on the keyboards (Whitesnake), as well as Kelly Keagy on the drums, and they have come together to found the band THE MOB.
Kip Winger, who is responsible for the meeting of very interesting combination of the four guys, produced the selftitled disk. In April 2005, everybody got together to banish the classical Winger sound onto a CD. Main points were set on the songwriting and the musicship (but isn´t that actually always like that?). Many things on The Mob anyway sound like a jam session and that is quite positive. Dough Pinnick´s voice is not a very striking voice that unmistakably sticks out, but to solve that problem, Kelly Keagy got the lead vocals on The magic.
There´s everything inside that you need: slower (Turn to stone) and faster (One track mind) tracks, as well as an interposed guitar solo (Guitar Solo), a half-ballad (I want to live forever), and a pushing instrumental (Spaghetti Western). Finally a fresh melodic hard rock album was done that bribes through fat grooves (No reason why) and good solos.
