The Blooming Cherry-tree's country interested me from my childhood… the Zen, the martial arts, the culture, movies and obviously the music… Taiko Drums, Shakuhachi, KITARO… and recently from several months I delight the Japanese Metal. The majority of Japanese bands what I listened was from under the sign of heavy metal and in majority of bands in band was woman. Similarly a woman is in TYRANT (dark Ayumi – keys) as well as misters: Keisuke – vocals; Z3 – guitar and vocals; Masato – bass; and additional musician Toshiya Nakamura – drums). But music of TYRANT oscillates in different metal convention completely… Them third album “Grimoires” has 12 tracks which are create by symphonic black metal patents in style of DIMMU BORGIR and CRADLE OF FILTH… so this is the dark, brutal, blasphemous and also very melodious and melancholy black metal with considerable influences classic music, what is hear among other things in tune “Fallen Angel Of Plague” (the motive from Beethoven's Moonlight Piano). The band existed already from 1994 year, so back-scratchers have enough considerable musical practice, what is hearing on “Grimoires”. The tracks are characterized huge wealth of motives – from the sharp totally furious black metal to heavy and slow melancholy or dark regions of metal music until ambient symphonic courtly-classic motives. In some moments the influences of the heavy metal, death metal or doom metal are hear clearly. Obviously the basis of music is create by hard quick riffs, black metal's scream as well as very complex melodious keyboard's parties embedded in quick paces which underlines are by the very dynamic work of drums. The supplements of all are the considerable quantities of melodious or sharp solos, the vocal phrases as well as recitations to music (embedded in deep tone). The whole replete is deep darkness, fury and melancholy. The material is given very professionally and really well. I think that Japanese are so good like before mentioned European gangs.
