“Wings Of Time” is the second material of Japanese heavy metal band. WIZARDS' HYMN follows the same musical path which they already selected on the previous material. I would say that this music flowing from this material is sweet but dynamic heavy metal and it has the special hard. The gentle singing of Miss Kimiko as well as the very melodious masterly solo parties of the guitars Mr. Tsutomu as well as the equally masterly arranged keys (like from the Baroque period) create this sweetness. The singing of beautiful Kimiko brings many sensitivities and nostalgia in this heavy metal climate, although here and there this singing undergoes stronger emotions (like in Japanese tradition, the emotions are kept more on reins than released). Besides very melodious parties of vocal and instruments also the arrangements are base on very dynamic and rhythmical guitar riffs. The riffs are well-kept in quick tempo. The very lively and strong work of drums is the driving gear of the whole (for which responsible is Mr. Kensuke). The drums supported by equally the dynamic work of bass guitar of Mr. Toshimasa. The whole of material sounds enough originally like in style of heavy metal inspired by western bands. The originality in peculiarity is thanks to the vocal parties of Kimiko, in which I feel the Japanese breath. This time the CD contains 3 songs: “Wings Of Time”, “Firestorm” and “A Drop Of The Ocean”, and every of them contains the huge dose the masterly heavy metal which is moisten the influences of classic music.
