What for heaven´s sake is „melodic mind-shaking brutality” metal?? Yes, to reason that point, please just put the debut album „Global Crisis“ of the Danish formation ALOOP into your CD player and push the start button. And in time you will experience this term in its cleanest shape!

To say it with different words: Old school thrash mixed up with modern melodic metal. You don´t know what that means? Well, then buy it! Hehe…

Because: The band was founded in the year 2000 and has got great songs on CD, for example „Insomnia“ (really great song!!), to which you MUST headbang! The same applies to the opener „Breath of the self-rightous“. With „Hell on earth“ they have got an instrumental song within that album that can convince.

Spontanous thoughts of me: If you are in a bad mood, this music makes yourself very aggressivly, without any border. But: If you are in a good mood, you feel like you wanna headbang and drink and have fun! Powerful! Aggressive!

The changing of clean vocals across croaking to growls of singer Bo Larsen perfectly fit to the music style.

This album has got a very good production being a first CD of a band. The production was done by Jacob Hansen, who also mastered and mixed and of course did that in the famous Hansen Studios, where also Hatesphere, Ancient, Falconer or also Mercenery recorded.

I don´t have to say anything negative about that work, except maybe the none-existing variety in the songs… I cannot make a difference of the songs, although I listened to them around 20 times. Maybe this is the fact, because it´s actually not my kind of music, I normally listen to…

But to cut a long story short: Well done!
