Since a few year the Frenchmen in L´ESPRIT DU CLAN have not only toured their home country, but they already toured Europe and so they can enter more than 250 concerts in their books.

Their first demo CD „Chapitre 0“ could already be heard by 3500 people, the debut album „Chapitre 1“ from 2002 could already be released on a label. Now the next coup is in store: „Chapitre 2“. And the guys already toured for that CD in April ´05.

The six French boys went to their home studio in Paris for eight weeks to afterwards give that silver to Stéphane Buriez for five weeks, who found the right mix in Lille.

The 13 songs (one of them is a hidden track that is very quiet. Here L`ESPRIT DU CLAN unusually used acoustic guitars) show an intensity and brutality that is spread by the rivaled vocalists Arsene and Shiro. In the opposite to that, you can find the melodic guitar sounds of the two guitarists Chamka and Ben. The bass guitar (Clem) and also the drums (Tnt) are very dynamic. Precision is everything!

I have to point out the French lyrics that cannot be understood by anyone, because of the acoustics, even though you are able to speak that language.

Where „Chapitre 1“ stood for unity, „Chapitre 2“ talks about loneliness and disappointment.

The music that you can settle in the metalcore – nu metal area, sounds angry and authentic. Most of the time it goes straight ahead (remarkable: „Babylone“), whereas you can also listen to doomy sounds („Salva me“) or even melodic-death-metallic sounds („Terres bruleés“). Guitar walls to shake your head and body, accurately take turns with original heavy metal guitar solos („XXXXXX“).

Totally seen, „Reverence – Chapitre 2“ is more metal and more powerfull than the two past albums.
