THE MYSTERY

Today a very special concert night should occur: THE MYSTERY had a home match. But not only that fact was one of the special things that should happen that evening:
First of all the location today was a pub called Pabb. THE MYSTERY guitarist Alex Mart

Already the whole evening was spent by establishing the equipment and doing the soundcheck. 7 pm was the time for the THE MYSTERY fans to enter the pub. A little later the Pabb was really full. That is no surprise when you think of the ticket price of 3 Euros for normal people and to the free admission for fanclub members.

Because there was no support band tonight (by the way, THE MYSTERY didn´t need any, how you could see and hear later…), the concert started at 9 pm.

How pretty singer Denise Olbrich noted, it will become homelike tonight: on and in front of the stage. The four musicians shared a space of 3 x 4 meters. And in front of the stage pushed the fans. With an amount of around 80 people, crowd cuddling was a big word.

Vengeance is mine from their latest album Scars started the set and it really made happy faces. After the first songs, Denise had to announce friendly, nobody should open the windows, because otherwise we will have unmeant guests here, let´s say the police. Of course, everybody did the whole evening what the charming person said  And so the concert could continue with a lot of nice songs…

A good mixery of the already released albums Facing the storm and Scars, as well as from the sold out disc Where the wind blows freedom was played for the audience tonight. Beside ballads like In our hearts or Broken, the band performed killers as well, for example Another day in hell and 1.000.000 light years away.

Very special surprises were planned for the guys and girls of Heiligenhaus that night: drummer Daniel could finally play a great drum solo killer! The drum solo just passed into a spectacular instrumental part between Mr. Kahn behind his drums, bassist Christian Rüthers and guitarist Alex Martin.

One surprise came after another: Directly after that, the band performed a special part: The extra studied acoustic set was introduced. Vengeance is mine played in an amazing acoustic version, Inside my heart of the last album Where the wind blows freedom; Hells Gate as a sexy blues version!

THE MYSTERY especially are considerate of their fans. Therefore Dyin´ dreams was thrown out of the setlist and for the wish of a fan (who sent a nice email to the band telling them, he wanted to hear that song because of personal reasons).

Directly after that, the sympathic female singer Denise had the chance to show her fans that she of course has the ability to be a solo entertainer as well. So she sang an a capella version of the song Another sunrise without you that you can find as a ghost song on Facing the storm. And the creep didn´t want to leave… This song had its live premiere! Not only for that, Denise and her band got applause.

Before the people drowned in love sickness and melancholy, the emergency brake was activated with Facing the storm. So the air was very hot again!
You could even see a moshpit! Even inside such a small club is that possible!

But because these were not the only specialities for that evening, the visitors could be excited for another exclusivity: THE MYSTERY performed three brandnew songs only for us: Typically THE MYSTERY was Turn into stone. Judas betrayed and Suicidal thoughts go into a heavier corner! Not THE MYSTERY anymore, but somehow still THE MYSTERY! Great! You can be keen on the next album. If you believe guitarist Alex and manager Mario, then the upcoming album will include only such killer songs. You really can look forward to it…

Because the people couldn´t get enough after 20 songs, the band was called back to the stage again to give us a wonderful encore part: Lost memories, Tell me whether and the heavy Revenge finished the concert night of that fan-close band!

So it was over with live music for now, but not with the party. Because the band amused themselves with their fans and collected their well-deserved praise!

With that concert, the band from Heiligenhaus showed that they can firstly rock even a small club and secondly that they have the abilities to play a concert with more than 2 hours playing time without becoming boring. And so they are definitely born to be a headliner! Hats off!
