Discographie :
Greetings from hell – 2005
Greece is not very famous when it comes to heavy metal. BLOODSTAINED have belonged to the scene for six years now and calls attention because they offer an American power metal sounding album in the shape of old VIRGIN STEELE or also TITAN FORCE.
Also here in Germany, they could leave their marks. They did that by playing live at the Keep it ture festival or by supporting BRAINSTORM. Furthermore the band adds its notes musically here.
Rock ´n roll! Heavy, this is how Greetings from hell sounds. The dirty voice of singer Theodoros Gourlomatis fits well to the same sound.
The band around drummer Agelos Tsoukalas sounds so American that I cannot believe it!
Good songs are the catchy opening track (after the intro, of course): Die by my sword (I guess, this song is a quite good live song!) and the doomy and bluesy Prisoners of time.
But in the middle until the end of the CD, the thing becomes boring, because the tracks are not easy to differ. Therefore I have to say: I cannot accept more than middle average.
But everybody, who is into American power metal, please, please lend an ear and listen to the CD!
