“Hostile Blood” is the debut demo on Butchery Music from Poland's DEIVOS. It's brutal Polish Death Metal. Period.
It's heavy, growling, brutal Poilsh Death. If you're into that, then you'll be into this. Five bone crunching songs from the original “Hostile Blood” ep and two from their first ep “Praised By Generations”.

“Chasm Climber” pounds you in the face from the onset with driving, pounding, growling, grinding Death and “Hostile Blood” does much the same. There's not alot of variation from song to song, just grinding, growling Death. “Encircled by Nothingness” is a blast beating frenzy and “Scarcity Of Suffering” is a six and a half minute slaughter of heavy pounding and rolling , thunderous drumming over brutal growling vocals. Good seering leads too. “Throw out the Fetters” picks up more speed and pounds you into the pavement. The last two tracks are from their first demo and are just raw, speedy blast beating grinders.

If you like your Death purely brutal, it doesn't get much more brutal than DEIVOS. I can't say they stand out more than any other brutal Polish death band, but if that's what your liking is, they'll surely fit right in.
