SVARTSYN began the way at the beginning of 90. years and rather until today the band follows the same path. The “Bloodline” in reality is re-released album from 1997 year plus two tracks from “Tormentor”7” EP …

That is in principle this is not new material and I receive the album somehow a bit without enthusiasm… Typical black metal … traditional, quick, aggressive. There aren't place for any decoration in style of keys (except of the minimalist and dark intro in the part of “Tormentor”), perfect singings, etc. The sharp guitar's parties unsparingly thresh their songs. “The co-authors” these songs also are obviously the aggressive black metal's scream and mad rhythmical section…

… Two tracks belonging to the part of “Tormentor” are much more mad and archaic also. And of course darkness adorned of satanism and blasphemy blow from the whole. It is typical material for orthodox fanatic. This is material full of energy and black feelings…
