Polish extreme metal titans BEHEMOTH have made their much-anticipated return to the U.S. on the Masters of Chaos tour as direct support to Morbid Angel. The tour, which runs through May 3rd, also includes labelmates Krisiun and Despised Icon in the support slots. This is the first U.S. run in which BEHEMOTH has the opportunity to play an extended 45-minute set and it is also the fourth nationwide U.S. trek in support of their critically-acclaimed record, Demigod. The group returned from their first-ever trip to Australia earlier this year, which wrapped up an extensive16 month Demigod touring cycle that consisted of a phenomenal 225 shows. Look for them on the massive Sounds of The Underground tour this summer.
Be sure to keep an eye out for the groups limited edition Slaves Shall Serve EP, which is now available. This features a new track, exclusive live material, two covers and the uncensored Slaves Shall Serve video clip. The stunning new video is quickly catching people's attention with its intense and controversial imagery. Look for the clean version now on MTV2's Headbangers Ball. The video has also been posted online at mms://mp3.centurymedia.com/behemoth_slavesshallserve.wmv
Nergal (vocals, guitars) further describes his excitement over the tour: “First of all, were honored to be a direct support to the mighty Morbid Angel, maybe the most influential death metal band ever. Second, we brought all new stage elements, our own lights and what's most important, a refreshed and longer set. I know there's many BEHEMOTH fans out there that asked for more and now we will finally be able to present ourselves much better on this high-profile death metal tour. I can't fuckin' wait! See you all really soon.”
