Kinetic is a Thrash band out of Greece and “Soul/Emotion/Flesh” is a three song demo that they released previous to “The Chains That Bind Us” full length in 2004. All three tracks from the demo appear on the full length.

Kinetic is a kick ass Thrash band and the first track “Realms Of Nightmare” proves it immediately. A fast, hard, driving, pounding rhythm with furious drum kicking and seering leads. “HateMaster – Holy Instinct” starts with some gothic keyboards and kicks into gear and into some serious Death Metal. It stays thrashy, but it's headbanging, growling Death. I love it. Almost Cannibal Corpse-like. Almost. Anyway, the song kicks ass. The “NeverEnding Winter” is another awesome track, going back to hard driving Thrash. Good speedy rhythm and drum kicking with screaming Death vocals. Good leads too.

I haven't heard the full length, but I definately want to hear more. I'll definately seek out “The Chains That Bind Us”. Also, they've just recently added a female singer and a keyboardist to become a six piece band and have signed with a greek label called Burning Star and should have another full length in early 2007. I'll be listening for that one.
