MANES: live video posted + album workingtitle

A live-video by the Norwegian band MANES performing “The Neoflagellata Revision” is now made available for download (38 MB WMV) via their official website http://www.manes.info

The video is edited from bootleg footage shot at a 2004 gig in their hometown Trondheim. The song “The Neoflagellata Revision” was then still unavailable on any releases, but has since been recorded and is one out of two new songs by the band on their latest 2006 release, the 7-track EP entitled [view] out on Aural Music. Among the other songs on the EP is a coversong of “Cinder Alley” (originally by 16 Horsepower) that can also be heard in the bands Myspace profile.

MANES has recently signed to CANDLELIGHT RECORDS for their upcoming releases, and their third full-length album is expected out in early 2007.
The band is currently in pre-production and has enlisted many outside collaborators for this album. The album has been given the working-title “Invention – or how the world came to an end and why we did it”, but as the band comments: “…”Invention – or how the world came to an end and why we did it” probably won't be the title of our next album at all. It's more of a roadmap. But who knows, we still kinda like it….”
