For the very first time released on CDs the complete history of one of the most important groups in the Polish rock and jazz music. A complete set of all the bands albums enriched by several unique studio and live recordings, released as a box-set with a booklet filled with previously unseen photographs. Laboratorium is in the lead of Polish jazz and rock – Janusz Grzywacz, Marek Stryszowski, Paweł i Krzysztof Ścierańscy, Mieczysław Górka, Jan Pilch, Andrzej Mrowiec, Krzysztof Olesiński, Jarosław Smietana all in great musical shape.
Laboratorium was formed in 1970 in Krakow. From the very beginning it was very kindly received by the public, it quickly gained popularity and was awarded on top festivals in Poland. Appreciated by both rock and jazz fans the band proposed an extraordinary progressive music with an unique sound. The debut album was recorded with the help of Zbigniew Seifert. The group performed with Czesław Niemen. In 1978 they left for Jazz Yatra festival in India, where they were very enthusiastically received. Achieving recognition in the country, the band begun to gain popularity in the western Europe, performing on various festivals with the greatest jazz stars.
The groups latter albums document their constant and wild artistic search. Now, enriched by those recordings that analog records couldnt hold, they give a full view of the amazing musical adventure and phenomenon which Laboratorium was.
