I use to know Stratovarius. I'm not going to say I'm a big fan, but I listen to them from time to time. Kotipelto's album, “Coldness” carries deeper and melodic tunes. Powerful as well. His voice on that album was better than you could ever hear. Even better than when he was with Stratovarius.

Putting togather all these famous musician on this album, Warman, Mike Romeo, and many others….I guess that was one of the good factors that helped in rising-up this album.

It's pretty different. Something you didn't get use from Timo. But it – of course – got the power/progressive metal touch. I can't stop thinking about Stratovarius whenever I'm listening to him. Of course, he was the voice of this band. But I guess, he is going better job on his own, if you know what I mean.

Each song got it's own taste. Each song got it's own taste and idea. Of course the music is not free from Janne's speedy keyboard- playing (as usual)…..so I got sometimes the sense of Warmen.

Kotipelto wrote the songs of this album, and produced it. Everything is not the same for him and for us listeners.

This solo album is something different for Kotipelto and all his fans. You should listen to it now.
