EBOLA surprised me with their approach of the music. I should expect some sophisticating, because the band is in the custody of Alkemist Fanatix. Can somebody imagine the connection of Grind Core with drowsy Sludge Doom Metal and in addition with psychedelic and Black Metal features!? Such is “In Borrowed Plumes” – very sharp, brutal, very changeable, like mad and simultaneously psychedelic, trance and even sometimes melancholy. In principle accretion of “black metal” are in the color of vocal mostly but I know that the similar color of vocals are in use in different kinds of Hardcore. But this isn't the only color of vocal emerging in the tracks because we also will encounter for the clean, calm, depressive vocals. Besides the guitars mostly are like wild, what in connection with the percussive's blasts drives the whole of structure of aggression. The pace mostly is quick but there the slowing downs appear, what in symbiosis with the clean guitar's passages or the melodious solos creates the very psychedelic mood and sometimes typical for Sludge Doom Metal style to after moment return to mad threshing again.

I can say that EBOLA connected two opposite musical species, where the speed and the aggression coexists with heaviness and trance quiet. The lyrical layer is created in Italians' language, what additionally adds the originality for the band.
