Element Eighty is a new name to my ear but not to my music library. EE is an American nu-metal / metal band. They sound much like Adema, Flaw and Linkin Park, may be the concept of StoneSour.

I was first introduced to this band through the soundtrack of the famous video game “Need for Speed – Underground” with the track called “Broken Promises”. I bet that many people knew them through this game’s soundtrack. I was curious to know about this band.

My first impression was amazing may be one of the best male voices I have ever heard, heavy great instruments., talented musician rocking the walls of my ears. It was so hard for me to skip this band that easily. But sadly that idea started to fall apart bit by bit when I heard the full album. I still see them very good but not different or new. The vocals is somehow exactly like “Chris Volz” [Flaw vocals]. The same guitars riff too. I was sad!

But well…the album itself is great but like I said there is nothing new about it. The catchy tracks are, Broken Promises, Scars (The Echo Song), Bloodshot, and Dummy Block

Fans of Flaw, Linkin Park, StoneSour, Adema can check this band.
