The Italian promotive agency – Alkemist Fanatix Europe made friends with me well. Again I have the considerable package of Italian bands to reviewing… so, let's go to the work… In the front line I decided taking CHEOPE, which history started in Rome, in the last year of the last century. And if I do not make a mistake that “Downloadideas” is first full album of the band… so, what is there music?

“Dwonloadideas” belongs to representaive of contemporary Metal doubtlessly, that is Nu Metal where heaviness, aggression and rhythmics interlace themselves with melodics as well as with considerable dose of melancholy. Their Nu Metal is solid with rich arrangements, full of the various motives, from gentle sounds until strong and powerful knocks, but first of all the songs are nice for ears. Additionaly varoius emotional exultation of vocal and instrumental phrases intensify rebellious aggression and also nostalgia in the music.

Obviously in the music there are samples and almost hip-hop motives intertissued among traditional instrumentarium. Moreover the music contains quite a lot elements of Progressive Rock/Metal, or else several percussive folk-metal motives in style of SEPULTURA. I think that CHEOPE is ideal band for fans of bands in style of S.O.A.D. and KORN.
