“Dogs n’ Bones (former G@ttitude) are an Italian quartet of Rock n’ Roll musicians, who have called the italian magazines and website’s attention with their first Cd “Rock Target” back in 2001.

Dirty Fuckin’ Loud is their first album under the Dogs n’ Bones name, which is, in fact, a good analogy to Guns n’ Roses song Dust n’ Bones. Of course their music sounds like Rock n’ Roll, spiced up with a little bit of Punk. It seems that not only the band’s name remind me of Gn’R, but also the guitar sounds a bit like Slash, specially on the first track “Hard to Say No”, on Velvet Revolver’s first album.

Honestly I was expecting a little more originality from this experienced quartet, I mean, it’s their 3rd album…and the lack of novelty on the 30 minute album gets it into a not very exciting Cd, and the vocals need some more feeling too. The second track of the Cd “Give Me a Reason” features some female vocals, which turned out pretty cool.

They have the right Rock n’ Roll attitude and a good guitarist as well. So, definitely they can do a lot better and sound more original. So, we shouldn’t give up on them.
