Taking time-out from their infamous DIY-style thrash gigs around the UK, Merseyside crossover thrashers S.S.S are gearing up to deliver their sound to the 5,000 capacity Brixton Academy on October 3rd. S.S.S are set to support US metallers Killswitch Engage on the UK date of their forthcoming European tour and S.S.S frontman Foxy has spoken out about the significance of the date for the band and the thrash genre:
“Setting foot on the Brixton Academy stage will be the biggest gig SSS has played to date. we cant wait to let loose the thrash beast onto the capital city”
This gig will give S.S.S the opportunity to showcase their thrash sound to a completely fresh crowd, who are sure to be subjected to the raucous and energetic on-stage antics that they have been delivering to thrash fans at recent gigs, following the release of 'Short Sharp Shock' in June.
