In 2001 some guys from southern Australia formed a band and
that is all. In further years they played many gigs and were one of the most popular bands in Australian radio stations. This can give us a hint, what do Australians really know about the music, what is their idea of music
Why do people think, that screaming like an idiot can resemble music? Someone should do something to prevent people from committing such crime on our ears. DIATRIBE do exactly this activity, which simply makes me sick, because I personally think, in my humble opinion, that such yelling brings nothing to the cultural heritage of metal. What is more, there are many bands, which use growl and yelling instead of singing, but this is something, that I hear for the first time. Yes, DIATRIBE use their pie holes with some brain and their music is not a brainless hammering without any logical or mental planning. They are actually using heads properly and this should be appreciated. The compositions are vulgar and raw, but also compact and convey the message – brutal power rules! And that is actually it.
This album is a good album recorded by a bunch of sickos, who know how to create brutal but organized music. Others should just listen to it while playing Quake or Doom. Only then will they not jump scared when a hideous monster attacks them from behind the corner.
