Cool songs: Someones Desire, The Sad, the Damned, the Dead, Locomotive Breath, Lost but Not Forgotten, Road Song
ABANDON HOPE was formed in 2004 and quickly after the beginning of work, they managed to release a demo titled Existance. The Endless Ride is their recent production, which was brought to life last year. The band has been on tour for the most of their time, so they know how to please public.
This SLAYER-like music is one of better heavy groups I have recently heard. The sound is quite unique, it is impossible to mistake them with someone else, despite the fact that they use some ideas previously released by others. The riffs are very varied and extremely fleshy, what is more the compositions also vary a lot. The ideas do not repeat and the songs pour into the ear. The beginning is rather tough, but later on everything changes. Id rather hear more dynamic compositions , but one cannot have everything. The album contains elements of heavy, thrash and even hard core. Furthermore, the calmer parts sound really good (nice Interlude). But the best part of this album is the composition number five – Locomotive Breath, JETHRO TULL cover. It simply pulverizes with power. I heard the original, which I worship, some covers (the best known by HELLOWEEN), but I have never heard anything like this one. It is very, very good.
ABANDON HOPE created an original album, an indicator of their style. The concept is quite obvious: pulverize them all, blow them away, with heavy and monster power. That is what I like the most.
