THE EYES is a Spanish death metal band formed in 2004 somewhere around Barcelona. Unfortunately, that is everything that I know about them, because the only info about this band is written in… Spanish, which I unfortunately (again) did not manage to study yet.

First of all, I have to admit, that the beginning of the album pushed me away – i was disgusted by that awful sound and the ‘dirty’ concept of death: the squeaky guitar was beginning to get on my nerves. But after the firs minute, everything changed rapidly: variations on the same motifs, everything goes faster or slower, pure raw death and clean melody of sounds. It is a multi-fruit jam, which I would not eat with a spoonful but bare hands! Totally mouth-watering death metal, in its dirtiest form. The filth spills from the speakers and fills the chamber. So watch out, because you will have to clean the room after the listening.

THE EYES know how to bring pleasure to the ears of the metal fans. This album pulverizes with its medieval character and cold chains, which shackle one to the earphones for hours. It is not an easy music, but surely deserves attention.
