Cool songs: Eternal Flame, Brumgia, The Longing
The band was founded in 1996 by a group of friends, who wanted to create something of their own. After signing the contract with Morbid Noizz Records the band released their first long play, Stagnacja (Stagnation), which was also released in Japan. In 2003 Robert joined the band and gave their sound a fantastic support with his keyboards. Version 3.0 is, as you might know by now, their third full-length album.
This is a typical industrial gothic metal, but with very strong electronic influences. And electricity is not the only thing which has an impact on the performance – also there are some hellish influences. But the music itself would definitely fit the industrial fans tastes. It is very ripe, the synthesizers work hard, the rhythmical section is quite developed – those compositions are not simple touch-and-go songs, they can sometimes blow away, especially when heavy and fleshy guitars join the party. It is a varied and quite powerful electronic feast.
I am not an electro-enthusiast. I prefer heavy guitar and raw drums to sublime synthesizers. But this album has really got a spark. It is good and definitely deserves a longer hear. Not innovative enough, although extremely entertaining.
