Cool songs: Towards My Grave
The band was established in late 2003, by Maurizio and Nicola and their aim was to create the fastest and the most aggressive riff in the world. Everything accompanied by the slow parts, everything kept in the US metal style – an interesting tribute-like approach. The band recorded only two albums, Decomposition is their second one, but the first EP, mixed at the Selani Studios (cooperated with BEHEMOTH and VADER).
And as the title suggests, this album is the best tool for brain decomposition. First of all, the clumsy riffs work as a screwdriver, which unscrews every single bolt of your brain, so that it finally falls out. The vocal behaves like a hammer, which smashes the brains, which have fallen on the floor a minute ago. And everything would be just fine, if it was not for that monotonous hammering, which finally ends up in throwing flesh all over the place. After a while the listener realizes, that all of that had happened, because the music could not offer anything varied. Very nosy, although extremely boring release.
Decomposition shows, that power and potential can be wasted quite easy – by overusing one musical motif and having no musical concept. Thus, the album should be titled Deconception, as there is no audible nor visible idea, which would guide the listener through the whole process of creation, therefore leading to successful listening.
