Music: Death Metal

Country: France
This is an another death metal band from un-metal France. The group started working in 2000, in the areas of Roussay and since that time the band managed to record four albums, including two demos and two long plays. Vices and Verses is their last child.
Vices and Verses offers a huge dose of power-play, of a high value and technical level. The guitars sound heavy, obese even, from the very beginning till the end. The drums are extremely furious, they work very quickly and there is no time for a pause. Everything seems to be in the right place, even the vocal lines – a heavy, characteristic growl, filing the void of death metal. But the point is, that despite of all those pros, this album is rather boring – first of all, the power remains the same, the tracks do not vary at this level. Secondly, there is no use of looking for some differences between this music and other death metal pulp, as there are not any. It is just the three-thousand four-hundred and sixty-seventh copy of death metal models and should be treated this way.
The market is full of such albums and bands, which differ only with their names. Sometimes, they manage to create something worthy, but the problem is, that someone has recorded it a week, or month ago. And that is why UNFRAGMENT will remain only an average proposition for death fans, across Europe and in the world. But when it comes to French borders, it is a bit higher than average – not bad.
