Second album of Finnish melodic death metalers from MyGrain is only or just a good album. Full of good synths, brutal play and clean/scream/growl vocals. This 48 minutes are nothing special, and this album is only average, it's not bad and not impressive. I like the production of this album and maybe not all songs but Human Wasteland and Alienation are wicked show killers I think and crowd should get insane in moshpit.

MyGrain is not a copy of In Flames, Children of Bodom and At The Gates, they are trying to play more metalcore music with an big influence of american shool of metalcore (not the German brutal metalcore) than swedish/finnish melo death metal. MyGrain vision of melodic death metal is oriented in various emotions and rhytms supported by always changing vocals of Ta(mm)yboy. His voice is a highlight of the whole album and if we can take vocals as an instrument his voice should be the best one.

If you are a fan of the genre you can listen to MyGrain but you wont be satisfied as much as for new In Flames record or last year's Deadlock Wolves.
