MUNICIPAL WASTE Films “Sadistic Magician” Video

It is quite common for parents to tell their children not to play in sewage…lucky for us MUNICIPAL WASTE totally ignored that advice.

Last weekend, everyone's favorite thrashers from Richmond, VA paid a visit to the formidable Hyperion Sewage Treatment Plant in Playa del Ray, CA to film a brand new music video for the song “Sadistic Magician” – off of 2007's modern metal classic, THE ART OF PARTYING. Directed by Jeff Speed of 1134 Films and Produced by Carolyn Vye of The Vault LA (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, AS I LAY DYING, MADINA LAKE), the video features the band performing “Sadistic Magician” inside of an extremely volatile nuclear power plant. The plant can't handle the manic energy of MUNICIPAL WASTE and starts falling apart, causing absolute gory mayhem to befall the citizens and wildlife of the areas surrounding it.

Director, Jeff Speed comments on the video: “Humor, horror, metal and mayhem have always been a winning combination. It's 80's throwback to the fullest – back when videos were fun and the music was still dangerous. MUNICIPAL WASTE is the perfect band for it because this is exactly who they are – no bullshit.”
