To be honest when I first saw cover artwork of BOOB DISLODGER demo I was bit terrified. A grindcore band has sent me a demo? No way. My first thougts fortunately were the last, and the reality has been different as i thought. But listen, totally old school and vintage hand made art work of this cd simply must affect comparision like this. But how big was my amusement when I put the cd into my cd player….

And here it is. Boob Dislodger is a death metal band! Wow thath was a big shock. Especially when i first heard the Tampon Trouble, where blast beats are mixed with typical brutal death metal riffage, low growling and (wow) really good solo riffing! Good for you guys.

Well, when we listen to this stuff forward we can hear mostly middle tempo death metal with some punk,grind or core infulences. However, whole stuff is strongly death metal.

Minuses? Propably the lenght of each song. BOOB DISLODGER's songs are mostly about 2 minutes long, and that for a death metal band it is not enough. Guys think about playing for example 3-4 min lenght songs. And my advice if you will go in the direction of Grand Junction Killer (I smell BOLT THROWER here!), you might be quite cool.

At last but not least, this demo is propably a sample of BOOD DISLODGER's creativity. I hope that next time they will send me better, longer and much more intensive stuff. Of course with normal art work, not a hand made! 🙂
