Italian thrashers, HYADES are busy recording their follow up to “And the Worst is Yet to Come,” released in 2007 via Mausoleum Records. The tongue-in-cheek humorists wrote the following recording update:

“Hey megamoshing fellows!

We're alive. Yeah, we've been very busy with our anti-emo world crusade, but ve're reaching the final victory and we wanna thank y'all for the support you gave to Hyades troops.
Ok, stop joking. We're working hard to the new album, that's gonna be recorded the next month. We're near finishing the pre-production and we will fly to Germany at the end of November to mix and master the new album with Andy Classen (Tankard, Holy Moses, Krisium, Dew Scented and many more) at Stage One Studios.

In next days we'll let y'all know both album title and tracklist. Of course, you have never heard any of the new songs so they mean nothing to you and I'm just an asshole waving a carrot in front of your face.
Anyway, the album cover artwork is ready. Ed Repka did an awesome work, as usual, and we're very fucking satisfied.

In other news we're booking the first shows for next year, in order to promote the new album release.
On December 27 we're gonna raze the Lido Club (Leuven, Belgium) to the ground, together with Tankard (GER), Violator (BRA) and other local bands.

We've also confirmed our appearance to BATTLEFIELD METALFEST, than will take place on January 23-24 in Valencia, Spain. We're very proud to share the stage with legendary acts such as ADX from France and ZEDYAGO from Germany. I'm totally excited since I've been a frantic fan for years and years; they've been a very important influence on Hyades music and I still keep their rare albums in vinyl format under lock and key.
And you don't give a fuck about it, I know.

We're also booking some shows in Sweden & Denmark for spring '09 and then we'll finally play in Italy together with our moshing comrades F.K.U. to promote both our and their new album.
And… blablablabla… a lot of things to write more, but no time to do it. So just sit down, take a beer and wait, ok?
