Finland's THE 69 EYES have confirmed their return to the UK.
The band, who released their latest album Back In Blood in August, will take in four shows in March 2010.
Frontman Jyrki 69 states: “After showing to the Americans some good times for Halloween in the name of our new album Back In Blood, it's very welcoming to do the same on the Old Continent! Since Dracula arrived to Whitby, Andrew Eldrich (SISTERS OF MERCY) re-invented the sunglasses in Leeds and HANOI ROCKS made London a place for sleaze rockers to pilgrimage, UK has a great importance for The 69 Eyes. We have a fantastic hardcore following there, every time we play there, it's like one of those rock'n'roll dreams coming true again. We're proud to represent our new album live, UK vampires know how to rock!!!”
UK dates include:
March
9 – London, England – Islington Academy
10 – Manchester, England – Academy 3
11 – Glasgow, Scotland – King Tuts
12 – Nottingham, England – Rock City

A recent update from the band reads:
“Do you have an awesome live shot, taken during the Back In Blood Tour? Share it here!!
To get things started, here are a few of my favorite shots I took on Wednesday, October 21st in West Chester!!”
The 69 Eyes' new album, Back In Blood, was tracked with the Grammy-winning producer Matt Hyde (SLAYER, MONSTER MAGNET, FU MANCHU), and features a guest appearance by MONSTER MAGNET's Ed Mundell. The recording process took place both in Helsinki and Los Angeles.
