HIBRIA To Release 'Blind Ride' In January

Brazilian metallers HIBRIA have set “Blind Ride” as the title of their third album, due on January 26 via King Records in Japan. The CD was mixed and mastered at Machine Shop Studios and marks the recording debut of the band's new bass player Benhur Lima, who joined HIBRIA after the tour in support of the group's previous CD, “The Skull Collectors”.

Commented guitarist Diego Kasper: “We've just listened to the mix sent from Machine Shop Studios and we're sure this is the most intense and raging album in our career so far. Besides keeping the speed, dense arrangements, and melodic lines of the heavy metal we've played until now, we allowed influences from thrash to progressive to permeate our music. We can't wait to hear the feedback from our audience, live and through the web. Also, we have recently inked a deal with Base 2 Productions, in charge of the management of SEPULTURA and ANGRA, and for sure all these new partnerships [label/management] would take us to another level in a worldwide basis.”
