NECROMIND were born in april 2003. And “The Sleep of The Reason” is their first album. The title of album establishes to sleep, but the music is not sleepy at all. And it is very impulsive and dynamic. I write this review about 3.00 a.m. and a sleep does not surround me, just the opposite – my batteries are loading…
The dirty sound of fast and sharp guitars screws into my mind and stimulate my nervous structures in brain like strong electric loads. The sharp and noisy vocals reinforce aggressiveness and madness. Additionally, strong and fast rhythms give motor speed for the whole… Of course, the band sometimes slows down but then they crush by their heaviness. This very energetic the whole is marked with the special guitar melodics – such in style of melodic Swedish Death Metal – like CHOLDREN OF BODOM or DARK TRANQUILITY but with strong seizure of Hardcore… The band DEATHCORE (from 90 years of XX century) has connected motifs of Hardcore with Death Metal similarly. However NECROMIND is much more melodious.
Moreover, the minimum phrases of keyboards give the dark aftertaste. And some melodies (e.g. from ballad “Remember The Day”) give melancholy accent and we also will hear clean guitars there. But these type moments are short, because NECROMIND presents sharp guitars playing and uproarious vocals first of all.
After the listening half of the album, I affirm that in the music of NECROMIND also appear accents of Thrash Metal full of the dynamic, muffled riffs and the sharp solos… The album is finished by Punk/Core song with lively melody.
NECROMIND is the next band promoted by Alkemist Fanatix Europe and the band bravely connects of several species of extreme music.
