SCAR OF THE SUN goes to “Into Darkness 2012”

Modern atmospheric metallers from Greece, SCAR OF THE SUN, have been confirmed as the opening act for the “Into Darkness 2012” European tour featuring MOONSPELL, PAIN, SWALLOW THE SUN and LAKE OF TEARS! After SCAR OF THE SUN's very successful debut European tour in late March 2012, opening for RAGE, TYR and COMMUNIC on 14 dates of the “Metal Firestorm 2012” tour, the band is ready to hit the road once again in November 2012 for an additional round of 17 shows!

SCAR OF THE SUN's debut release, “A Series of Unfortunate Concurrencies”, was released worldwide in May/June 2011 via Scarlet Records. The album was co-produced and mixed by renowned producer Rhys Fulber (PARADISE LOST, FEAR FACTORY, MACHINE HEAD, MEGADETH etc), mastered by Greg Reely (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, THEATER OF TRAGEDY, PARADISE LOST, MACHINE HEAD) and features guest appearances by Mikael Stanne (DARK TRANQUILLITY), Marios Iliopoulos (NIGHTRAGE), Bob Katsionis (FIREWIND, OUTLOUD), Chris Antoniou (SEPTIC FLESH) and Leah Randi (CONJURE ONE). The band is currently composing songs for its sophomore studio album.
