Australian PEGAZUS has many fans by own classic approach to Metal. This is nice that some bands still hold on the tradition presenting classic Metal and they do not surrender for reigning trends. The PEGAZUS is classic in 100% – from the cover art (which reminds the cover art of “Painkiller” of JUDAS PRIEST), the title of album “In Metal We Trust”, the titles of works, e.g. “Metal Messiah”, “Road Warrior”, “Old School Meta Dayz”, “Metal Gods” and “Death Or Glory” until obviously to the music…
As Heavy Metal – the music of PEGAZUS is very predatory, dynamic and simultaneously is very melodious with many parties of the guitar solos, the catchy refrains and the expressive backing singers. Obviously melodious although strong singing (altering somewhat the sound and his intensity) sounds on front of instrumental phrases. “In Metal We Trust” presents the conventional form of compositions – the sharp and heavy riffs, the melodic stanzas and the refrains as well as the solos and the various guitar serves. The album sometimes spreads the sublime tune interlaced with rebelliousness… This is not novelty…
RUNNING WILD, MANOWAR, HELLOWEEN, JUDAS PRIEST, METAL CHURCH earlier showed the same and however this is PEGAUZS with own ideas, with own energy and rebelliousness. It is classic Heavy Metal with a feeling, with a spontaneity and with a passion which never bores… And men from PEGAZUS play just such.
Some guests were during the recording to raise the rank of album – Ross The Boss and David Shankle (MANOWAR) as well as Jeff Watson (MOTHERS ARMY) playing solos in bonus version of “Old School Metal Dayz”. Additionally cover song “Metal Gods” of JUDAS PRIEST appeared on the album… “In Metal In Trust” gives great power!
